In a demonstration of its dedication to providing lifestyle banking solutions and creating memorable experiences for its clientele, Fidelity Bank Plc recently hosted customers to two vibrant days of festivities in honor of the Yuletide season.

Dubbed the Fidelity Family Weekend (FFW), the event unfolded at the Fidelity Grounds in Oniru, Lagos, attracting over 10,000 guests to indulge in a carnival-like ambiance on Saturday, December 16, and Sunday, December 17, 2023. An integral highlight of the morning festivities on both days, tailored for families encompassing children, parents, and grandparents alike, was the loyalty prize presentation ceremony recognizing the bank’s SWEETA and FPSS accountholders. Amidst joyous celebrations, numerous FPSS and SWEETA customers were rewarded with generous prizes, with lucky recipients walking away with N500,000 and N150,000, respectively.

Addressing the audience at the loyalty prize presentation ceremony, the chief host and Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Fidelity Bank Plc, Dr. Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe, OON, expressed gratitude for the bank’s achievements in 2023, emphasizing the significance of uniting families in celebration of the Yuletide season. She remarked, “We typically host an end-of-year party to cap the year, and this year, we decided to try another approach and bring together the entire family in celebration of the Yuletide. We are happy to host you and have put in place lots of exciting activities to keep everyone engaged over the next two days.”

The first day of the event culminated in a mesmerizing ceremonial lighting of the Christmas tree by Dr. Onyeali-Ikpe, accompanied by captivating musical performances by Alternate Sound and Sean Tizzle, enthralling attendees of all ages with their talents and stage presence.

Continuing the festivities into Sunday, the Fidelity Grounds buzzed with an array of games and a delightful visit to Santa’s grotto for the children, who were treated to goodie bags filled with functional and educational gifts.

Guests on the second day of the FFW were further treated to exhilarating musical performances by Peruzzi and the queen of house music, Niniola, alongside an assortment of entertaining activities masterfully orchestrated by the esteemed Master Compere and comedian, Funny Bone.
